3 MONTHS TO GO

Diet was perfect this week  BUT.....Arghh ..... doesn't sound promising does it ? Update is I have been working really hard at the gym . 2 days ago I changed up my workout routine and I could now walk for 2 days and im not joking . Today being the second day I decided I was not going to miss the gym twice . I woke up this morning and managed to do the Jilian Michaels 30 day shred level 1 workout for 15 minutes before work. At work I had to walk a client to the mall and this took us 30 minutes 1 way so by then I was aching plus my knee has been acting up . Suprisingly I still managed to go to the gym tonight and I worked hard . Im hoping to feel better tomorrow . This September rush is making me nervous I really need to do this

September Losers

So I was on the phone to a really good friend , a sister , bff as they call them now and as usual we were going on and on about losing weight and how we wanna be the that size 10 soon. We have had such conversations before in the past but on this particular day we decided we had talked about it enough . No more diet talk so we decided to give ourselves 4 months . 1 September 2013 would be the reveal day , we would work as hard as we could till September putting in out best effort to lose weight. Motivate each other n talk about it but cone September no more!!! I set my target at 15kgs . Its gon be an interesting journey and to add to the excitement my cousin who has been a great inspiration to my weighloss journey decided to join us . Im really excited we can totally do it  .Watch this space

Mango and Goji Berry Smoothie

Ingredients  1 cup Low-fat Natural yoghurt  2 tbps Dried Goji Berries Fresh Mango  1/4 cup Low-fat Milk   2 tbps Dessicated Coconut  Stevia Natural Sugar  Method Add yoghurt ,mango, stevia  and milk into blender and blend for  30 seconds - 1 minute ( time and amounts of yoghurt and milk can vary depending on personal preference) .  Add goji berries and coconut and blend for 20 seconds to keep the texture :-) that's it !! A healthy and easy to make smoothie!!

Summary ---- DUKAN DIET

So all in  all I have lost 7 kilos with the Dukan diet and I am happy with the results . It takes alot of dedication and commitement to stick to it long term and unfortunetly I am one of those people who easily get bored of eating the same thing over and over again so I officially stopped the diet about 3 - 4 weeks ago . I have had a few bad days but I am now officially NOT going on any diet . After losing 23kgs I have basically learn't and grasped the principle of what works for my body and what doesn't and after having tried most diets I have learn't that it all comes down to eating the right things in the right quantities . From tomorrow Monday 05 November 2012 till the 5th of December 2012 I am planning on shifting 5kgs . Its gonna be hard but I have done it before and I know I can do it again . My strategy is going to the Nutrition n Exercise. I currently have a Personal Trainer who has helped me come up with an Workout plan that is combining cardio and weights ....

Day 22 -- Attack Phase - Dukan Diet

Ok so Day 22 and I am guessing everyone is expecting me to be saying 15 kgs lost :-( . Unfortunately not !!!! I have lost 6 kgs and 2 cm and nothing has been coming off . I am mostly to blame for being extremely slack especially over the past 6 days ! I feel horrible and I have been working my butt off to get back on track . I am working out harder and I have told myself I will fit in a workout no matter what ! No point recording my diary at this stage because I am just too disappointed

Day 15 -- Cruise Phase - Dukan Diet

Hello I am back again ....... I havent been good at   this whole blogging  thing this week  im always tired after work and I just never have time to log on and write .  Updates 1 kg weight-loss for last week making ita total of 6 kgs  . I am very disappointed in myself .  I was really aiming for atleast 2 kgs however a loss is better than No loss plus I have received numerous compliments about my weight-loss so I suppose that's a sign that this is working . They say it takes 2 weeks to break a habit ...... I really must say for me I think its taking 2 weeks to start those temptations rolling . Over the second week I have fallen into temptation like biscuits  I only had 3 still it all adds up , I have been snacking on "small lollies" ........ bad idea . So I have had to made a few adjustments for example I will increase my exercise and also watch my portions . Since I started taking veges I had realised that I am  feeling much better but ...

Day 9 --Dukan Diet Cruise Phase

So today I learn't that I have to spend at least 133 days on this diet to reach my target weight that's a bit over 4 months  SHUCKS!!!. I will set a small target to lose 10 kgs in 71 days that's in 2 months , this sounds very achievable considering I lost 5 kgs in my first week . I worry that my body will start holding on to all the fat now so hence I need an intensive workout regime .Discovered that I am not allowed any kind of oil even olive oil for cooking and my biggest struggle will be NO SALT , one wonders how I am expected to cook!!!!! I will continue with my jogging and gym i am not that motivated to write today ........
